Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best known for playing strong yet weak characters. Linney is from the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father, Romulus Linney, was a writer. She studied Arts Theatre School at Moscow before graduating with an M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City 1990.
